mango jiuce + keyboard = wtf do i do?!?!?!?

well ^^^ spilt mango juice on my k-board

only the left side, ie. the d key was as fas as it got

i've put the left side in a sink quick and all the mango juice is gone then i dried the keys the best i could ... but when i press a key it's registering as being pressed twice :S

What do i do?

You shouldn't have dunked your keyboard in water.
You should have pulled the keys off, then cleaned it with a damp rag.

Can you take it apart?

If so, do so, then clean it with a damp, soapy, cloth and leave it over night to make sure it's absolutely dry before you you put it back together and use it again.

guys i took out all the affected keys and wiped the surface with a damp cloth - is an airing cupboard too warm to fry it or is it ok?

Can you not just leave it to dry on your table or something?

It should be back to working order after that. Also, don't dunk shit in water, mango jiuce is bad, so is water. You could have figured that out.
Spillages are always cleaned up without water on a keyboard.

F*CKING THINK! a keyboard that is not plugged in can be cleaned just fine with water, as long as you properly dry it afterwards. How the fuck do you think hardware is made?

I have done it before succesfully. Empirical evidence ftw. I didn't need to be told that a regular keyboard wouldnt break if it was submerged in water. Common sense ftw.
