Saw it in HMV a few days ago.

Basically its a rebranded Bullguard - which never really did that well in AV tests. Decent idea (as well as online backup), but needs to be improved.

Yeah it looks like a very good concept. If it came in hard copy, and wasn't 100 bucks, then id be all over it.

sounds like a lot of hot air. Stick to nod32 and you'll be fine
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Or just get yourself a firewall-router.

Someone told me an external/hardware (router) firewall, can replace an internal (software) firewall - is that true?

So, behind my Netgear DG834PN router, i can turn off my Kaspersky firewall?

Oh, yes, very much so - I have the DG834G v2 and, on my gaming install, I don't have firewall software installed at all.

I've never had a single issue that a software firewall would have prevented.

Thanks for the response.

So i can disable firewalls and all computers on the LAN behind the router?

How secure is this? Have you tried a port scan test (eg ShieldsUP)?

Does this also mean i can disable PeerGuardian (for torrents)?

Shields up results for All Service Ports scan:

Can't be arsed to run the other tests 'cos I know the results will be exactly the same... All stealth'd...
