Just wondering if most of us have similar gaming backgrounds, My first love was good ole TFC followed by CS never really got on with HL2 or CSS so have been playing BF2 for the last 2 years. Its not that their the only games i've played but certainly the most addictive. I do wonder tho just how much longer BF2 has left, i'd also have money on EA fucking it up just as valve did for tfc/cs to promote new titles.

Edit: Seeing Genes post, I did play Runescape for 4 years, approx age10-14, ws fun when there was stuff to do, game just doesnt entertain me now.

Hmm, in chronological order.

Neopets, Runescape, CS, BF2, Maple Story.

Anything before CS was before the onset of ball droppage.

That gets me thinking.

Neopets: Ultimate kids game full of idiots (Er, over 95%)
Runescape: Game full of stupid violent children and hideous freaks past childhood
CS: Mostly full of screaming noobs and children, but a lot less than the last two
BF2: Quite a few people past 10 in age or maturity, but still contains a lot of screaming noobs and idiots
Maple Story: Game mostly filled with illiterates, illiterate children, children, and Asian supremacists.

Kind of peaked at BF2 in terms of quality players and then fell into a much worse game.

After a while i realised it was such a crap, pointless, repetitive, life wasting game but just couldnt give it up...

..until one day i did! Best decision i ever made

Anyway, games that i've been addicted to (in order):
-Runescape
-Counter-Strike (got sick of the original CS, then crappy CS:S came out which made me ditch CS altogether)
-And now BF2

the only game I have been addicted to was runescape, waste of two fucking years of my life. After I quit I make sure not to get addicted to any other game, I just play them for fun
