While trying to reinstall BF2 i keep getting a FileError witch is as follows.

E:\Support\EA Help\whgdata\whnvt32.htm 1117, Retry?

It gives me the option to retry or leave as is. but if i do leave as is there r more files it doesnt install witch r whnvt32 and so on.

Are the help and support files really needed??

Any help will be greatful cheers. Big Ears....

Make sure Battlefield 2 is completely and utterly removed from your system before reinstalling:

- Program Files
- User Data
- Registry

Also make sure you restart your computer when the installation/un-installation process asks you to.

To remove the registry etc, take a look at liquidat0r's guide on how to do a Complete Manual Uninstall.

ok i cant think of anything else, i removed all remaining files thats has got to do with bf2 but the same thing happens.

But everytime i try to reinstall it comes up with diffrent errors but the 1 that pops up the most is BattleField Could Not Install, Try Again From The Beginning.

And it cant be the disks cause i have had these disks for just under a year and are still in good condition, apart from 1 little scratch on it
im ganna get my brothers disks and see if that does anything.
