I'm trying to use one of these in CS:S but this douche didn't convert them to .vtf like everybody else before he uploaded them.  I googled ".bmp to .vtf converter" among other searches but all I got was some stupid plug-in bullshit which is frustrating the fuck out of me because none of it works with the free version of Photoshop because it's only version 3.2.

So does anyone have a converter that actually works?

I would of convert them for you but my version (8.10) of Paint Shop can not convert it to a .VTF format.

That's a lotta shit to look through.  I suppose that's not necessarily a bad thing though.

Turns out this particular model can only be used with a "model hack" according to someone who commented on that one.  I'm not sure if he meant skins or design programs.  Either way I can't find any use for it anymore but at least I have that VTFEdit program.

It lets you customize the .vtf files to allow Trilinear and Anisotropic Filtering.  Which is very useful for some custom skins that don't do it already.
