Your driving along an English country road, the credits role in while u drive past the realistic trees and fields while rain splatters on your window. Your mum is driving the car once the credits have finished a tank smashes through the forest to the side of you then another and another until one hits the front of your small family hatchback , your car swerves into a ditch... you wake up to find your mum dead, u see your reflection in the mirror (a 15 or 16 year old boy) covered in blood and tears. A huge explosion occurs in the distance a mushroom cloud rises up...welcome to world war 3
In my game you play a normal civilian when world war 3 begins. Russia has secretly been building up its arms since the end of the cold war and has made a pact with China to overthrow western civilization. ( OK the story may need some work but look at battlefield 2's lol) You play a Teenager living in a world full of war, its played on a realistic time scale and you must learn to survive in this new world by any means necessary. You start in a forest where you must make your way back home (and to the safety of a protected city) which is a realistic 60 miles away. You must dodge army patrols from the Russian army that has invaded.
This will be an extremely realistic game, the character will not be able to survive long without food or water and must seek shelter so that he doesn't get ill. On his way he will find other survivors (some will help some will not) and allied army members who will help to protect you.
As for weapons he will be able to use a variety of stick and stones to ward of animals or anything else he finds in the forest. The main goal will be of stealth, all environments will be interactive he will be able to hide in bushes and trees to avoid patrols. He may find handguns or other weapons in the forest (on dead soldiers) but will not be able to use them properly until he has reached an allied army base where they will teach him.
The game is non linear and in a free roaming environment. The story is loosely base on him making it back to his home town where the army has set up a base. He may try and get there by many sorts of Vachel's. He will be able to drive as long as he finds a car with keys left in them, this however will lead to him being captured much easier. However simple dirt bikes may be found which will speed up his journey
