Sonic for the SegaMster system!

The first one I really cherished though was Yoshis Island on the SNES

I was just reading all the replies, and I couldn't help but think, "What about stand up arcades?"

Any thoughts on the oldest quarter sucker you remember?

What about the one that took the most?

I remember seeing the original pac-man, centipede, Galaga, and of course Tempest.

For the most money wasted on a machine,  Cadash.  That game took my allowance for weeks....

Wow...  Feelin kinda old.
I think my first shooter could be classified as Wolfenstien on the apple ][e.  Not even 2D crappy graphics, pistols and grenades only.  I'm not talking about the original 3D FPS, mind you.  This game was before they had color monitors, just the old green and black.  The disk drive still used 5 1/4 true "floppy" diskettes. (Hah! diskettes)  and made this horrible noise when it loaded. (Sounded like jamming a wrench into a food processor)
