How do you get Four Star General. I was always under the impression that EA awarded it. Do they, or is it done differently?

Every month the top 50 3star generals (global scorewise) get promoted at the end of the month
they are only awarded once a month: the 50, 3 star generals with the most points after a month are awarded 4 star status.
I thought it had something to do with scores in the month, anyway thanks guys!

it does, the top 50 scores after 1 month (of 3 stars') move on to 4 star.

No the top 50 spots score wise is held by a bunch of 4 stars and Colonels. If a 3 star can break into the top 50 after the month is over he will be made a 4 star as long as he is still in the top 50. To get into the top 50 you need abut 480000 points right now.JAyThaRevo wrote:

m8v2 summed it up, like warp| can become a 4 star but he doesn't have the req.

if someone stat padded the first 4 days for the month and get 5000 to 7000 points would he get the 4 star ranks

4 Star...pssh. I don't think I'll ever get that. Those guys are always increasing in points. Although you do have a lot that don't play anymore (RC, Volx, Firestorm, That British Noob, etc)
Don't worry about the 4th star...looks worse IMO.

haha true, but it was big, and bold. Two star is such a tiny rank compared to one, it stands out more ya know?
yea to bad the ranks dont look like they do in BFHQ in game then it would be better

Sure.. if that's 5-7000 points PR hour, and assuming spending 24 hours a days, thats 4x24=96 hours * 5000 points = a spot in the top 50... But I've yet to see ANY stats padding that'll give you 5000 points an hour.... Oh, and I think you'll still need to have the reqs for 3 star before you get the 4 star.... So play 1440 hours, get all the vet badges, and THEN pad to 480000 points and you'll get it. Ofcourse a 90 SPM will look a LITTLE suspicious (= killing EVERY opponent 3 times pr minute on a full 32 player server), so dont count on keeping those stars for long if you get it this way.Panther0071 wrote:

However, Formitron shows that there are 66, if you go through the trouble of sorting the list by rank and paging down until you get to the 3-stars.
