Yes, artillery kills count towards your global kills, thus also counts for badges. Since you are getting the kills in that particular vehicle, or with that kit.

Yeah, its kind of padding though. Say you want your expert AA badge, just be commander and sit in an out of the way AA station and drop arty on everyone. Eventually you'll get the badge.

But havent they fixed that in bf2...example sitting into a lmg and getting arty kill toward ground def...i tho it was fixed :S

yep arty kills counts as kills. it`s a easy way to get AA, Ground and a lot of other badges. I can`t see how arty kills while commander could be construed as padding.
