usually a good trick to intelligently arguing is to first state your credentials. Why are you qualified to speak about this? If you're dumb enough to broadcast to the vast internets that you are a pothead, then I can't take you seriously.
sorry mate, you lose this one.
Islam is in fact a more tolerant and beautiful religion than christianity in many ways.
It´s to bad though, that the western media often focus on the most extreme muslims.
What do you guys think is the muslim´s view on christianity, if all they know about it, is George W Bush?
And by the way.. spark, I gave you karma. Forgot to sign the message

Define beautiful.... I'm not sure what you mean by that comparison.Dimeyard wrote:

And we didn't even hear a peep from USMarine in respect to the bombing holocaust of Vietnam. I suppose you will be talking about as much about Iraq in 30 years as you will about Vietnam now. Such a short memory we have here in the U.S., I guess most of the world can't really relate to our major motion picture length point of view.
Debate what? Your fucked up bullshit website link? God fucking damn you. Punch yourself in the throat and be gone.
@G3|Genius So true man so fucken true. I'll keep bashing as long as they keep calling for our death's.

Hey man, as far as I'm concerned, if you're associated with it and don't speak out against it, you're in favor of it. That's a universal law.
Where did this view of El Presidente as some sort of uber-religious nut come from anyway? I've certainly never been exposed to anything to lead me down that route. He's some denomination of Christianity like most, perhaps all, of our presidents but I cannot definatively say he is spouting words along the lines of fighting in the name of God or anything remotely close to that.Dimeyard wrote:

alright for those of you bashing my name, read the quote in my sig. And read the posts about "where did you get your gaming name"
I have no idea what my IQ is.
but I do know that when I present an argument, I research it, I provide sources, I type in proper grammar, and I establish myself. Anyone in the D&ST Sphere should know this.

If you want people to support you AGAINST extremism rather than side with it, you make an extra effort to invite moderates to your side. Why do you think extremism has spread through so much of the Middle East? We invaded a country for weak reasons, and as a result, people who hate us can manipulate otherwise moderate people into thinking we're evil.
I don't think we should be politically correct with Muslims. I would agree with you guys that we should be free to make whatever remarks or cartoons we want to, but we also need to show the moderates why our way of life is the key to their future. We're not asking them to change religions, we just want to peacefully coexist with them. We need to show them more productively how important it is for them to help us find the extremists.
If we treat all of them like extremists, they're more likely to become them.
David.P what good is it to demand someone speak out if it is not sincere and of their own will? It means nothing and will only further alienate the moderates, our greatest assets in combating terrorism.

And the thing he says when he makes his speech to the nation "God bless america"?
What if Saddam would have said "May Allah protect us all"
What´s the real difference?
Allah, Bhudda, Jehova = God

God Bless America- very, very common expression that does not really promote religion anymore. It's even a song, too.

We do intervene in more world affairs than anyone else, so logically, that would make us more of a threat to stability.Dimeyard wrote:

I would bet that if you asked the average European which nation would be most likely to attack his/her country however, you'd probably get more responses of "Russia."

For you to read my dear friend.
And ok, I can agree that "God Bless America" is a common expression, but don´t you think that "May Allah bless Iraq" (or something like that) is as common?
That would make more sense, though, right? Russia has shown a mountainload more aggressive and hostile behaviour towards Europe than the US has.Turquoise wrote:
