Weapons Global Rank by Time or kills ?.

As I've been playing I've seen my global ranks for the various weapons improve ( albeit sssslllloooowwwlllyyy ).. Which led me to wondering which factor is used by the ranking , time or kills ? as it's not immediately obvious.. and the wiki is unclear..

I don't think anyone knows for sure what the criteria is.

My opinion is that it's K/D and time related.. nothing to base this on though.

I'm not sure K/D could be a factor as mine has been at best static , at worst deteriorating... and yet my rank has always improved... If it were time alone that would be a little lame.. I sort of hope it's just by kills... :-| .

my guess would be it is K/D. Maybe chuy knows, but maybe he doesn't. Might just be that this info is part of the xml feed, with no explanation provided.

Are they in another feed than the one you posted on the feature reqs? Because either I'm blind or the specific (weapon/vehicle/map) GR isn't in there...

Ranking in the weapon toplists is based upon the number of kills you make.
