Similar to a thread i made waaaay back in the mists of BF2s time, about BF2V.
(Disclaimer-Based on PR 0.5, and muttrah privatrank server, which is where i tend to end up)
Commander- On rubbish servers, which i invariably end up on, does sweet FA, even if in existence. Or, plays normally, and dies lots.
Squad Leader- Again,on rubbish servers, appears to only choose the kit to make rallypoints, from which to take the marksman kit. Will very often place said rallypoint, in the middle of a street/hotzone, so his squad can spawn, safe in the knowledge that in 2.56 seconds, they will be seeing the spawn screen again.
Support Class- Very happily sits on a roof all day, and shoots at inbound attack LB's.Gets himself, and his squad killed through this action. Avoid at all costs.
Grenadier- Sees enemy. Fires grenade at enemy. Realizes grenade was a smoke round. Gets shot.
Marksman- Sits somewhere glaringly obvious, fires a few rounds, misses, then gets a AT round up his arse.
Sniper- Sits in one of two locations- Docks Crane, or CS Crane. Makes a easy kill for anyone, as under NO circumstance, will the Sniper go elsewhere.Fool.
Light AT-Has a M16, but for no apparent purpose, as all he/she does, is fire AT rounds at anything that moves, friend or foe regardless.
Heavy AT- Fires one AT round, misses, then spends the next 25 seconds on in game chat, complaining that he can't "Reload" his launcher. Needs to read more.
AA Rifleman- Picks position, naturally the tallest building he/she can find. Sees LB, fires, misses, gets shot. Useless.
Crewman- Can never EVER find the way into a vehicle. That, or goes solo in a tank, only to get butt-fucked by the first AT Squad/Hostile armour, he/she encounters.
Pilot- Gets in chopper, waits for 3 seconds, then attempts to take off, resulting in 3+ tk's. If a pilot actually manages to get airborne, he/she flies nose first into the first building/AA stream/friendly vehicle, that he/she can find.
Spec-Ops- Will ALWAYS plant his/her slams right where his squad is about to move. Or, will put so much smoke down, everyone contracts cancer, and dies.
Rifleman- Will NEVER lay down ammo. The best way to get ammo from him/her, is to fatally wound him/her, grab fallen kit, then re-supply yourself.
Engineer- Uses the shotgun at whatever the range, or plants C4 all over his/her teams helos, in a bid to deter the pilot from flight. Once pilot attains flight, our friendly engineer, blows the fully laden helo out of the sky. Forgets this is not BF2, and vote kicks actually work.
Medic- These are very good at reviving, but much like the NHS, terrible at aftercare. Leaves his men to die around him/her, bleeding to death. Enough said.
As i said, the majority of these observations were made on my favourite server, 24/7 Muttrah, which is generally full of idiots.
