Should I get a new powersupply?

I'm about to buy this and wanted to know if I needed new power pack to go with it.

Current power: Antec 550w

Specs:
Pentium D 3.2 GH (dual core)
Asus P5B mobo
DVD drive
60 GB Hard Drive
200 GB Hard Drive
4 80mm case fans
2 hard drive fans

Side note. If anyone can see a more worthwhile card on this list under 200 or an equivalent ATI please let me know.

The fact you have 2 HDD's might push it over the edge, but afaik the 8600's consumption is that of a ~7600 or so, not too grunty.

The TP2.0 550W does SLI (expects heavy load), so I think you'd be more than okay.

Save up $90 more and spend the money on an 8800GTS, you'll be so much more happier with that. The 8600 is pretty weak, even compared to the previous generation cards.

He'll be fine on that PSU. Not even close to using all the power.

Get an 8800GTS 320MB, they're great value. The 8600GTS is not. Surely if you were considering getting a new PSU to go with the 8600GTS, then you'll be fine.

I run an 8800GTS on a 520W supply, with between 3 and 6 HDDs in at any one time as well as 2 optical drives - I run everything OCd and I'm perfectly ok for power. Don't listen to all these people who claim you need about a bazillion watts to run anything.
