Does anyone know from experience or just by looking at it if it's a good video card cooler?

yes it will be goood, your graphics card will take up two slots if you buy that.... the normal one and one for cooling.....
so make sure you have rooom under your graphics card now, and what card are you going to put it on???

Can you recommend a good one for me, I will be using it on my X1650PRO.  Reason being: it starts out with good smooth framerates for about the first 1-5 minutes and then goes to lagsville.  I think this is caused by this shitty stock cooler, which runs at 100% at all times anyway which is evidently not enough.  This is my card btw: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6814102057

I believe that fan is made out of aluminum, which is a worse heat conductor than copper, which is what this Vantec is made out of.

Like I said, if you can direct me to a good Zalman, preferably small enough to give my neighboring PCI slot back, I would really appreciate it.

I would be putting it on my Radeon X1650PRO

This stock cooler already goes over the adjacent PCI slot anyway so unless I can find a smaller but equally better aftermarket cooler, this one seems to be the best choice.

This is my first time installing aftermarket cooling so I was wondering if anybody recommends that I get Arctic Silver stuff, or just use the applicant that comes with the cooler?  Or should I get the Arctic Silver Ceramic compound since it's better for GPU surfaces according to leetkyle's cooling guide
