Every time I load up 2142, I get that screen with "Play online, play now, exit" etc, and I'll click play now...I get that screen and then it says that message.

I'm running Vista 64 bit if that matters.

Does any other disc's work? also can you go into the disc itself via my computer?

Yup, BF2 deluxe edition works fine. So does FSX. And I did that as well, and it still won't work.

Have you set it to 'XP Compatibility Mode'? When I did it kept coming up with that.

I set it to XP SP 2 compatibility. I'm uninstalling and re-installing now, I'll see what happens.

You don't need to uninstall it, right click the Icon, go to Properties, Compatibility and then uncheck XP S2.
