Those who were on IRC a few days back when I made a rant will know what this is about, but I'll explain anyway.
A few days back my dad and I were to a "The Who"-concert. The band was simply amazing, btw. I've known before that my dad saw the guys 41 years ago in the UK, and took some photos aswell. He has managed to locate two pictures that are developed as slides. The other one is of the gig itself and has a lousy quality. However, the other one is from backstage; the bastard got drunk with the Who, I envy him so..
Anyway, here's the project:
I took a picture of the slide; no, a scanner fucked it up every single time, and I didn't go to a photgraphy store so that they could blow up the picture. Instead, I came here because I know how much you like to mess about with PS.
I want to have this picture on my wall for three reasons:
1. It's the fucking Who!
2. The picture depicts John Entwistle (left) and Keith Moon (right); both 1337 musicians, both deceased (unfortunately).
3. My dear father has taken this picture eons ago (1966)
The full-size 2,2Mb file can be downloaded here <- Link removed, no need for it anymore.
I want to have an A4 size print of the picture, but some "adjustments" have to be made before it is done:
1. The guy on the right is some guy my dad travelled with, hence, we don't need him. We really don't. So an overall image blurring except for the "cool guys" could do it? Or if you're super-ultra leet, something else that'll keep it good.
2. Yes, I took a picture of a picture, and the Lumix-lense is as a visible reflection. So something needs to be done to that aswell..
Keep the 60's feel in it, please!
Here's a small version of the picture:
Don't start working on the picture unless you are positive you can do the work. I only need one image, so if you want to do it, notify me in this thread, or via PM.
I'll be travelling to London soon, so I won't be answering much during the upcoming 6 days, but I wanted to post this now anyway.
Thanks to all in advance!
