Hey all this is younoobyou and id like 2 ask which mod i should install to get the servers on bf2 special forces to actually work. When i first installed it i had version 1.41 into it cause thats what id been playing on in regular old bf2. im installing version 1.4 at the moment but would be very happy if someone that plays special forces on multiplayer would kindly tell me which mod to install to get the most servers that actually friggen work. Thank u if u actually read this article.

And here's how you should install:

Install bf2

Patch 1.41

Install bf2 sf

Patch 1.41 again

Go play!

tyvm to all for the valuable advice and 1 more thing, do i get the new sf weaps as unlock when i already got the original unlocks in bf2? (sorry if im confusing all of u.)

Play 1 second on any SF ranked server and have it recorded at the EA stats site (this may take a while atm because EA has fucked up) then log in and you shall receive an extra unlock for every one you already have and at each promotion from now on you shall receive 2 unlocks.

To unlock second tier unlocks you can must unlock the first tier one first. NOTE: You can NOT use the second tier unlocks in SF, the reason is many are the standard SAS/Seals weaponry.

F2000 = SAS assault
G36E = SAS medic
MP7 = SAS engineer
MG36 = SAS support
Scar-H = Seals assault (But the Scar-L is the second unlock for spec Ops)

P90 and L96A1 were added later with Euro Forces, but still can't be used in SF.

A lot of people have been having problems with stats in BF2 and the expansions.  My stats didn't start working correctly until the last week and that was after about a month of having almost none of my points count or any of the medals or badges.

Did it in this order and still aint workin, infact the game dont even load up :S but yet the .exe is still running in my processes in task manager.

well that sux cause it worked for me but i still dont have my medals with sf or reglar ole bf2
