I get the following error when trying to delete old PMs in my inbox:

try to set your Internet Securty off, I get that also whenever I edit a post or something, need to shut my IS off then it works.

It's never done it before and I haven't changed any settings. But I'll try again later from a windows install that doesn't have NIS installed...

Hmm... Actually, it's probably BT - we upgraded to 8Mb recently and, ever since, our internet connection has been a flakey pile of pooh.

Hmm... Appears it was indeed Norton Internet Security.

As I said I would, I deleted some from an install that doesn't have NIS, that worked perfectly, so I tried again from this install and got the error message again, so I disabled NIS and tried again - it worked.

Wierd thing is, I know it definately used to work from this install and I haven't changed any settings in NIS...
