Ok i hate to admit it but.... i'd support PETA on this one, that disgusting to eat an animal that isnt even dead yet, and they descale and disembowl it while its still alive(pretty normal i guess for fresh fish). And i HATE PETA!!!!!

Uh, this is all happening in Taiwan, not Japan. Although, I'm right with you on dunking them in boiling oil.
