Hi all,

I'm a web developer, and I'd like to know two things:

- How do I access the EA Battlefield 2 stats server, in the way that BF2S does? Is it an RSS feed, and if so, what is the URL?
- What "rules" are there that I should be aware of (i.e., not accessing stats for the same player more than once every x hours) in order not to crash the servers?

(And don't worry, I'm not looking to start a competing website... Just taking on a web dev. project/challenge!)

Well I don't know if anyone can/will divulge that information personally, but BF2s does have an API you could look into plead for access to.

Or did that die with The Death Of Sigs: Part Deux?

Why would that info be secret? There are plenty of websites that do BF2 stats. Also, where have you heard about this API?

But that only has leaderboards, not full stats of players...?

Not sure if this is what your after, but if you want to link something that lets people add their "nick" as a search term use -

http://www.gameslave.co.uk/bfparser.cfm?accountName=      and players nick goes at the end after the "=" 

Once per person per visit is how it works, i believe.
