. . . saying someone mentions the word hate doesnt invalidate a statement .. i hate rapists so raping is morally ok . . .
Very poor analogy . . .
First, usually it does invalidate your statements. . . it points out your lack of objectivity. It also identifies a pointless rant. It also helps point out the all too common opinion: “what I don’t like sucks.”
Second, BF2 (a game) does not/should not invoke a sense of moral outrage/hate.
Third, not all rapes by definition are a crime - nor immoral.
An 18 year old boy technically has committed statutory-rape by having sex with a 17 year old girl, and simply committing a crime by some moral standards - invokes a violation of their moral certitude. But I do not consider this immoral, but then again, some may consider any sex before marriage immoral.
A S&M devotee may request as a fantasy - a rape - as a thrill - this is not a crime nor immoral between 2 consenting adults.
What makes rape an outrage is not the sexual act itself, but the unwanted force in doing so.
In addition you cannot equate a REAL world event; an act of violence; with a UNREAL event in a game. There are no similarities; and a logical comparison between the two should not be used.
Hating an aspect of BF2 (a game) does not logically compare with the real world violent event called rape.
Any poster commenting/pointing out your dislike [hate] of a game feature; and that such invalidates your opinion; makes a case and point well - as a general statement.
As a side note:
Since game-skills hardly invokes the sense of real-skills in life, speaking in that context is just as absurd and nauseating as ranting about so-called noob-tubers.
And you’ve heard it before:
“You don’t have skill with a [game/pixelated] gun/weapon, get some skill noob-tuber!”
What a mindset joke!
