hey does anyone know how to play .bup, .vob. and .ifo files on windows media player 9?
on the file right click, open with and media player.download a codec if that doesnt look, im to lazy to give u the link, so look up klite codec on google
there are a bunch of .vob files from one video, is there a way that i can merge all of them together to make on .vob file so the movie plays all the way through on one file?
click on the largest file, that file should play the movie all the way through. it has to be a vob file though. over 1000kb or mb are the ones u looking for
In your DVD player.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
well there are 3 files that are about 1gb each, and each file has 1/3 of the movie in it, so i cant just click on one and let it play.russ)=spetsnaz wrote:

thats weird because for me i just clicked on one that was over 1000 and it played the whole movie, i was doing it with wmv 10 though, why u still using 9 upgrade ur shit dude
ive been using the Media Player Classic that came with the codec download to watch it. Now that I tried viewing it in WMP the audio would work but no video would come up. I guess i will update it and see if that works.
download klite codec
i downloaded and installed the klite codec. I have tried to play the video on WMP 9 and 11, and the audio works, but no video. for some reason WMP 10 will not install for me, it says i am running a different version of the operating system than the installer or something (i did DL the right installer, the one for XP Professional)
edit: this is the error message:
"This version of Windows Media Technologies is incompatible with this version of Windows. For more information, view the information at the Microsoft web site."

Create a playlist with all three of the movies in them. Also, try downloading and using VLC, it is a very good media player, that I have yet to see a codec it does not support. It is also free.ceslayer23 wrote:

Look for a .vob converter and use Windows Movie Maker or look for a .vob movie makerceslayer23 wrote:

Are you trying to merge porn or something into one video? lmao
well no, im not, but man, you just gave me a great idea
Think of all the clutter you can save by having 1 full video instead of 10 small ones! You don't have to have 10 results come up during a search. LOL.
Or combine previews or pieces of previews into larger complete movies, lol.
use gom player?
Download AVI Codec Pack and VLC Player - that should sort you out..
Burn them on a DVD an play it in your regular dvd-player, or use a Harddisk-dvdplayer like Powerdvd.
Open the Video_TS directory in a DVD player. Sometimes you can play back the VOB files directly, but it very much depends on the structuring of the DVD.
VLC will do this fine, although I prefer using PowerDVD since I get issues with digital audio in VLC.
