The 680i chipset is good. I'm just not familiar with the BFG tech one. I own and EVGA 680i board but they cant be too different.  I'm not sure that ram will work with your board.

Then there is no need for a Quad Core, you'll just be wasting money. The PSU needs to have 4 PCie connectors then if you want it to power up two GTX's.

That only works with games that were actually designed to be used with that.

Quad core is useful in games like supreme commander, and I read that crysis will have support for quad cores too. It's not entirely useless.

If you're going to double the RAM, then get 64 bit Vista.

32 Bit OSes cant handle 4GB and above RAM properly.

When SP1 comes out they will.

Do NOT get 64-bit. It has lots of driver issues and it also sturggles just as much with 4GB of RAM as 32-bit.

64-bit is flawed atm, let them fix it, then you can use it. It is also a pointless OS system, seeing as barely anything is 64-bit.

l would get a faster hard drive and two of them and put them in raid.  Also grab two more ram sticks and go for vista or XPx64.  Also wireless gaming is total pants, you will never get a good speed or consistency outta wireless or maybe I live in the past.

To whoever is complaining about 64 systems I have one and never had driver issues.  I can run any  program in any version of windows I want and it is faster for problems that use it.  For example sound or photo editing.  But mainly I use it for 3D graphic modeling cause studio max is in 64.  Also there is no issue with using up to 16 gigs I happily use four and I used to have two.  It's is safe to say it is at least 33% faster.  I am sure that the 32 version can only run up to 2 and a half gigs of ram.  I also use two processors so, hate on it all you want but until you have tried it and used it you would only know what you have read.

Good luck with your system either way I bet it'll be a beast.

I've got Vista 64 and I've not had a single problem with any drivers and I've got a load of old crap that needs a lot of drivers!!

Vista 32-bit can cope with 3GB/4GB if you configure it properly.

SP1 will be fixing all the RAM errors people have been having with Vista. You guys are lucky not to get any errors.

Also, 64-bit is good for 64-bit programs, there aren't many though. Barely any games run on 64-bit ( as in, they support it, but are not 64-bit designed ) and programs such as Adobe CS3 doesnt run as a 64 bit program either. Kinda pointless when the speed is exactly the same.

Your setup is perfect. Just change your mobo and RAM to those if you want an faster system for about £20 more.

1010W psu is way to overkill, even if it is an 8800 SLI set up, get the 850W Enermax,
