Well i see my stats suck.. And then i've heard somewhere that minimum req. is Nvidia 5600.. but i have a 5500.

A Geforce 7600GS with a Core 2 Duo will play BF2 just fine on full settings at 1280x960 or 1024, 1.5-2GB ram is a must though, I have had played BF2 on allot of different PC's and I can tell you that a 7600Gs will play fine, or Geforce 7600GT is even better but not necessary, if the CPU is older like a P4 you'll need something a little more beefy like an X850XT or 7800GT+
Minimum? A 7800GTX I would say.
I have a 7600GT and BF2 plays lovely.
2gb of RAM is a must for BF2, as I have just gone from 1gb to 2gb.

geforce 6800 minimum if you want to play at high resolutions plus 2 GB of ram, 1 gb is not enough.

i have found that BF2 is less about the graphics card and more about the RAM in your PC
but i had a ATI Radeon VisionTek X1550 on my old computer and BARELY ran BF2, so maybe that's the lowest? lol

I played for ages on 512mb ram and nvidia fx 5200. It lagged like crazy on lowest settings and now its broken so I can't played at all!! It was nearly impossible to play on it anyway.

You play the game so you obviously your video card is good enough, what is the question....how much worse of a video card you could buy and still get away with?

I think RAM is a must for better performance. 2gb will be plenty. I find that the more RAM you have that more smoother everything runs.
An Nvidia 5200FX 128mb version is the bare, bare minimum, with 512mb of ram. I played on this set up for a year and a half without an issue. It aint pretty or especially smooth, but ill be damned if I didnt have some of my best moments on that setup Since then ive upgrade to a gig of RAM

a 7600GT works fine ..
min 7600 or 6600 gt with as much memory as possible. i ran a 6600gt with 2g of ram for a long time almost everything on high just fine.
I've got a Nvdia 5200 gtx, that's seriously bad, it's possbily the lowest graphics card you can play bf2 on.

It's a way for him to brag to everyone how great he is without being totally obvious that he's trying to brag. He's proud of his stats and wants everyone to know he got 'em that way even with what he considers a crappy video card.VicktorVauhn wrote:
