I'm curious what it would take to have a self-updating sig like the ones BF2Player.com provides? Is it even possible to create one like that? If so, what program would do it best? It seems as though PS would only do the graphics aspect of it, not the active linking or whatever it is that does the rest..

Well that sucks. So does that mean that anyone can write up something like that, or do you need access to that database in order to retrieve that information?
well im not too sure, somehow you have to get access from ea, probably some kind of feed i would guess
You cannot (I don't think) create it youself.
PHP is a server side script, and so you would have to create it yourself, and put if on your server, and then use the PHP coding to create your image.
I know nothing about PHP, what-so-ever, but tried to make a Windows Vista Gadget once, but was stopped by me needing PHP.....
