First you have to get the video off Youtube, so get VideoDownloader (or some other Firefox plugin).
Load up SUPER, choose "gif For Making Avatars"
Then drag the video file onto it.
Use ImageReady to trim the movie.

Now I remember (from searching previous posts). I used some crappy Softpedia converters and got a Youtube into AVI, but then I needed help getting it into GIF (which is what SUPER will do).
