Info on "Stats not updating" ... and "Stats may be back"

Ya, the OFOA server was updating nicely all day yesterday. Then we moved to our SF server, and that was updating as well. Then, about 10 pm (est) it quit updating. We played about five more rounds, no updates, moved to our vanilla server, no updates. Worked great until late last night.....

So far today, I have played on three different servers, and still nothing.

Ok, most rounds I played today got the stats recorded and updated. Kind of. Points and all other stuff got updated, except for army time. So now my total army times doesn't match my total time played. The three hours I played today are missing. Weird.

I played last night for 2 hours and got over 300 points and nothing has been updated. Still says my last battle was on 6-12....So stats are not working.

I think they were testing it to make sure it worked. They probablly have to do some more checks and balances on it still.

Just after midnight lastnight EST I got some updated rounds haven't been on since. but what i hearing is it is currently hit or miss. like noted above probably random tests to see if the have a solution. it would be about time.

ok to clear any confusion or whatever, the stats have been working on and off on multiple servers for a few hours and then they just mysteriously shut down. i do not know the cause of tihs, but this has happened since 2 wednesdays ago. i was one of the few and original people to have their stats frozen. then i realized i went to a server that was under a list of "updating servers" and played a round, and that updated. tried playing it later that night and other listed "updating servers" and nothing updated.

i just want EA to release a statement saying they will have it fixed on a certain day, that way there is a deadline they have to meet that will please not only customers, but take stress of EA/DiCE's hands.

^Theres an idea. Anybody who knows of servers that for certain update stats please post them. We need some SF servers and AF servers.
I admit I am a bit of a stat whore I just like to see the progress I make as I improve over the days.

very strange situation....
but why does EA not give a clear explanation and a real update every day on what happens.
Problems with servers happen and I think that everyone here can tolerate it but their silence on this problem really sucks !!!

look guys, stats are not coming back, its been nearly 2 weeks.... i am sick of it. i started flaming all over the ea forums letting violet know how "capable" she is. even if other servers are updating, have you guys forgotten about the hundreds of thousands of points you haven't got to update yet??? tihnk how can they keep track of that much of a backlog in stats - simple they didn't.

funny the stats show that my last battle was on the 14th but on my history it shows movement in the stats on the 16th june...
guess evrything isnt lost between the 14th until today...

Check this out... Saw this on EA forum from one of the Moderators

As per EA, the stats problem has been worked out, but from what I hear the server admins have to restart their BF2 servers if they want them to be able to update stats. This problem has been going on for some time, but EA has managed to fix it.

So server admins restart your servers and lets see if this works?

This isn't entirely true i was playing on FullContactWar the first two rounds i played updated and i thought *w0000t* we're in business but after that nothing. played another 5 rounds and got nothing as of yet. possibly a backlog but i think they are still f00ked up. at least i got some pts tho
