This is different from the "dumbest thing you've done" threads, in that this is for reporting the dumbest thing you've seen anyone else do
What is the absolute goddam stupidest thing you've ever seen someone do in BF2?
Heres mine:
I set up AT mines on a server with FF mines on, in a place i never thought anyone other than the enemy would pass. I backed up from the mines, admiring my handywork, and i was run over by a teammate in a jeep. Sure enough, 2 seconds later he ran over my mines and blew himself up.

On Wake setting mines on the bridge with a friendly FAV behind me. I finished setting them and turned around in time to see the FAV run right over a mine netting me 3 TKs with punishes.

Quite often I see people standing on the ground, pointing zip line (crossbow) somewhere up -balcony or roof, shooting at it.. and then trying to use it..

Exactly. It once happened to me in Warlord. Both the sniper and I looked at it for a few minutes...
then I shanked him.

one time i was playing on wake, and was hovering with my chopper midway from the island spawn point and the carrier, trying to help my team by shooting down the Chinese who kept raping us.

then, in the bottom corner of my screen, a JSF enters my field of view, slowly hovering its way towards the battlefield, carring 4 troops all proned on its back, guns at the ready to shoot anything that came their way. then it hovered away, into combat and sure death.

i never found out what happened to that jet and that reckless band of marines. maybe they made it to land, and hovered around owning with there infantry guns, backed up by the JST cannon.
or maybe they were all killed by a J-10

yea, im going to have to go with the j-10 choice lol

Rush a tank with an svd, Bail out of a heli and ask which button was for the parachute, And the stupidest of them all! Would have to be when My squadmates and I were on wake vodnik racing(Sandbox mod), We had 4 squads racing against each other, We were allowed to have 2 car's, With 1 driver,And 2 gunners each, A teammate bails out and gets us disqualified(Asshole i wanted to win)A close second would be on kark ff-on i'm sniping with a teammate on square he runs into my fucken claymore which he sees me plant(And he punishes)

A tank almost squashed me so I had to get up and move. Being a sniper and having no place to hide except the bush I almost got squashed in, I jumped on top of the tank. After failing to make me fall off the turret, the guy jumped into the gunner seat. I greeted him with a nice shiny knife to the face, and then ran him over a few times with the tank.
