i saw this on another forum somewhere and decided to make a topic about it here, im sorry if its already been made but i searched and didnt find anything

Basically, just list a few things that you think are overrated

Here are a few of my things:

-the Pirates of the Caribbean movies they were good, but they are really overrated

-Nintendo Wii i have played it at my friends house a lot. it sucks. <---(this is just my opinion. im glad to hear yours)

no the wii's cool i have one myself, granted it does have some shit games like all consoles but the actual gameplay is better than on other mainstream consoles, just because its completely different and innovative. have you played zelda twilight princess by the way as thats just fukin awesome as is that racing game excite truck i think its called. think of the price compared to the ps3 or to a lesser extent the 360. anyway thats just my opinion your welcome to have yours.

things i find overrated, most consoles (except the wii) but thats just as i play all my awesome games on this pc.

xbox live for windows or whatever they call it, its not as good as xfire but you have to pay £30 a year for it, whats the point? especially as halo 2 was crap on pc and nobody could get shadow run to work (well ign did after several weeks but most people never managed to get it to work on their pc no matter what the specs) so the 2 games that they used as they flagships have failed in every respect.

another thing i think is incredibly overrated is Gears Of War.

iv played it at tons of my friends houses, and played it online a lot, and i think its an alright game, but nowhere NEAR as 'amazingly awsome' as everyone i know says it is

same with Half-life IMO

Half life 1 or 2?

1: revolutionized fps . Pretty much thats all. Still fun till they kept releasing the extras like blue shift and opposing force. actually i thought opposing force was better then half-life.

2: had the gravity gun. thats what made it fun
