I've read about the principles of a time machine before.
Intresting stuff... The 'fact' that the first posible contact to the future would be possible only when the machine is first started sure gives hope that it could really work one day.

I doubt it will work. My guess the the damn particle will just not be visible because of how fast it is traveling but it won't go anywhere. No different than a time capsule.
