I will be looking into stats to see if this has a bearing on gaming ability.

My other poll will help to study these findings. That will see if people wear the earpiece in the same hand they write with.

I've only seen one person actually use one of those ridiculous things in public, and a small child stood staring at his ear then ran off giggling manically, anything that allows a child to openly mock a fully grown man shouldn't be allowed.

Oh and if I ever used one (which I wont) it'd be the right ear, makes more sense with UK cars having the drivers seat on the right so keeping your left ear free for other stuff (i.e. passenger yelling "OMFG, SLOW DOWN!" Etc).

I use my cell phone, on whichever ear isn't being used to listen for stuff. I see people in their cars talking to themselves, and it looks ridiculous, and I laugh.

You're going to fail because you didn't consider all the options. Your results are going to be total bunk since you left out the "I don't wear one" option. A lot of us who don't like them (or don't like looking stupid by wearing one) are going to either pick "either", or are going to randomly pick a side just to participate in the poll. This is bad science.

My phone predates bluetooth. It's an old low-tech brick of a phone. Ugly, heavy, bulky, but lovely and durable.

I don't have a PC headset. I normally end up on german BF2 servers due to non-IO city maps and low ping, so team chatter is useless.

The only headset-like thing I own is my earbuds, and they go one in each ear.
