Team Infinity Battlefield 2 Infantry Cup !

Team Infinity are proud to announce one of the biggest prizepools in the history of Battlefield online cups, in association with our sponsors SteelSeries & Dane Elec. Also a special thanks to Boomtown for supporting this cup.

The cup will take place in the weekend 22-23rd June 2007.
The main goal for this cup is to create a good weekend for the european Battlefield 2 scene, and make it possible for people to have fun and win attractive prizes, all at the same time.

Prizepool

1st - 200 Euros, 5 x SteelSound 4H and 5 x Boomtown Citymembership for 1 year (total value ~ 600 Euros)

2nd - 100 Euros, 5 x SteelPad 5L and 5 x Boomtown Citymembership for 3 months (total value ~ 351 Euros)

3rd - 5 x SteelPad S&S solo (total value ~ 132 Euros)

To improve the ingame fairplay between the competing teams, we also have some fairplay prizes at stake.

The fairplay prize consists of 5 x brand new Dane-Elec 2GB USB Pens. - courtesy of Dane-Elec Memory (total value ~ 110 Euros)

That gives a total prizepool of more than 1000 Euros !

Information
The Cup will be held the weekend of 22-23rd June 2007. The Final will be played on the 24th of June @ 20:00 CET.
We have a sign up limit of 32 teams. Due to the fact that we prefer quality instead of quantity.

they had a 50/50 US/EU lineup... and the rules where 50/50 servers, which means that 1 map on US server, and 1 map on EU server... then they used their US players on the 1 map on US server, and their EU players on the other map on EU server... which clearly gave them a huge ping advantage, as they where constantly pinging 30-40 in each round, whilst the opponents where pinging 120+ on the US server, since they where from EU.

they even had a NY server and a Texas server, but they used the Texas server because it was further away from Europe, LOL
