Facebook and Myspace fail.
If by "be individual n make your profile stand out" you mean "make my profile so damn ugly it causes eyes to bleed because I haven't a single artistic bone in my body", then yes, you are right on the money. Customizability is a double-edged sword that more often than not turns on the wielder.bennisboy wrote:
I prefer myspace cos u can be individual n make your profile stand out, plus every little thing isnt broadcast to your mates!
Altho facebook is a lot easier for social stuff.
I use it for the same reason. Except for high school. And not for notes. And for talking. And for insulting people. And for assorted other reasons.Donald O' Brien wrote:
While it is an easy way to waste time on the internet, Facebook is an invaluable tool for college students (it used to be exclusively for colleges). It's really easy to meet somebody in a big lecture or something, and with nothing more than perhaps a last name or high school you can find them on Facebook. With this, you can then message them if you need notes or something.sexecuti0ner wrote:
I don't have one because I have yet to meet someone that uses Myspace/Facebook that actually hangs out with the people they meet on it. You don't really become friends with the people you meet on these sites, do you? I'm not against it or anything, I just don't see the point. It seems like its just another way to waste time on the internet.
Yup.
i love how all the comments on his page are from chicks saying 'uh hi whos this?'PBAsydney wrote:

Face book is great. No fucking about like on emospace.
well, I have a myspace page although Im not emo. And 95% of the people added are friends of mine in real life
i use face book. but i am not the kind of guy that sends messages every few days to friends not when i can just meet them. all i say is it is amazing by the amount of people talk and giving personal information on those sites.
Wait whats wrong with myspace? Do you know how many chicks i've found from school, and how many of them post hot ass pictures of themselves on there profiles? Do you know how many cool friends i've found that i used to know.R0lyP0ly wrote:
Now, I'll agree that Myspace has more than a few freaks, weirdos, and emo kids, but whats so wrong with having a facebook? I like facebook. it doesnt mean that i sit behind my PC all day editing it, but its fun. anybody else gotta facebook?
