Just heard this on the radio, and confirmed by ESPN.

"I would like to be traded, yeah," Bryant said on 1050 ESPN Radio in New York. "Tough as it is to come to that conclusion there's no other alternative, you know?"

I remember crying in '91 when Magic said he was going to retire (c'mon guys, I was 10). Now this.

yeah, i heard the same thing too.

One problem of Kobe that every darn team knows. Poor teamwork skills. its like having a leet player in Bf2 wracking up 40+ kills with very little deaths and no help to teammates.

how is that a player of his calibur who averages 30+ pts per game not win the NBA championship in the last several years? i mean at least you have Jordan and Pipen helping each other to a certain point and they got 6 championship rings in the Bulls.

the lad has talent, ill give props for that. just too much ego i ll say.

Ha! Took this long to get him humiliated. He finally admitted he couldn't win the game by himself during the last game against Phoenix. Jerry Buss, kiss my a**. Shaq may not have been a great shooter, but he was a valuable center. And guess who got a nice ring last year?

Part of the reason Kobe wants to be traded is because a "laker insider" came out recently and blamed Kobe for Shaq's trade. After that, Kobe, Shaq, and Buss said it was Jerry Buss who instigated the trade and Kobe had no part in it.

The guy has a shit team around him. With the exception of Odom and Luke Walton, the guy had no teammates.

As much as I hate Kobe's attitude, I still have to say the guy is the best player in the game by a fair amount. It sucks watching him his whole career in purple and gold, only to see him go to another team.

There are few things I enjoy in life as much as my sports...

I really enjoy watching Lebron. That guy can score, dish, and defend. He jumps out of the roof when he dunks man, so entertaining, true team player. Youngest kid to 5,000 points or something like that?? Anybody recall the mark he made??

he bought a 35,000 sq ft house that has it's own casino... he's loaded!

LeBron has nowhere near the amount of raw skill/talent at basketball. He is very good though, and much more of a team player.

Walton sucks too. The opposing team puts their forward down low on the block against Walton and scores at will. Odom is the only other person on the team worth anything. Thank Cupcake for trading Caron Butler for Kwame Brown, or did Kobe orchestrate that one too?

Trade Kobe to the Knicks. The Knicks gave up two number ones for Eddy Curry (well one and a right to switch 1st rounders the following year). I can only imagine would they would trade for Kobe.

They are still fairly cheap, but gone are the days when you could buy a lower bowl season ticket and get one free
