Good monitor under $300 that's over 20"

I need some help buying a new monitor. My current one's an acer piece of crap, so I'm looking to buy a new one for my new rig that's almost completely bought.

Here's what I'm looking at:

Samsung are the muttz nutz when it comes to monitors right now, bare in mind that the panel is only 1000:1 cr, the 3000:1 is for want of a better word 'faked' by the software that comes with it, nothing matches it for colour depth though.

samsung is definitely the better one...its pretty boss.

also, dell has a 22" that is really good for $296 (costco.com)

it looks like everyone is very short and very fat.....now it looks normal, but at first is was disconcerting shooting at obese midgets.

I have the 205BW 20 inch bf2 looks awesome on it, Don’t know if you know this but 20 inch and 22inch monitors both run at the same resolution so you might be better opting for the 20inch as the image will be sharper and crisper.

damn. I bought my Samsung syncmaster new for about that same price 3-4 years ago damn its been longer then I thought. I'd def go with the Samsung I haven't had a problem with mine.
