So my dad bought me a car, a Toyota Corolla S. It runs really smooth and is very nice, too bad I'm not old enough to drive until July . What do you guys think? Here's what it looks like.
Nice, at least you have a car. Well I guess me too, I'll be getting my "ride" in Mid-June.
PUT NOS ON IT
I've just reached the age to start driving today, nice car though, reminds me a bit of a Lexus we have over here.

You only have to be 15 in the US to drive? Fuck, you have to be 17 here in the UK.
No way would i trust 15 year olds driving round here.
EDIT: Heh, and you gotta be 21 to drink. Thats a bit messed up. Bush is too busy looking for somewhere to bomb.

He could have gotten a V8 Mustang (2005+) for around 20K easily. Corolla was a good choice; easy on the gas and last a hell of a long time. Insurance on the V8 would have killed him, too.LT.Victim wrote:

We have pretty strick driving rules where I live, You can't drive by yourself until you 17, and even then, you can only have 1 passenger (unless family member) until your 19... and did I mention we have to put this gay sign on our car saying we are a new driver too..
lol, that sucks.LT.Victim wrote:

The UK has a green L sign for when you pass, but you dont have to use it, it's really just for old people who drive ridiculously slow.LT.Victim wrote:

EDIT: Wikipedia says:
"After learners in Great Britain pass their driving test, they may if they wish carry a plate bearing a green L. This is optional and is designed to warn other vehicles that they are still rather inexperienced even though they are fully licensed; other drivers may then make allowances for their minor mistakes. However, this idea has caused some controversy, since the colours are often difficult to distinguish in low light and by people who are red-green colour blind. Because of this, some people choose to show green P-plates (for "probationary") instead."
I never really see them, but i guess were both right.

And what does that stand for. There is a red L for learning and green P for pass.-botivix- wrote:
