What came first, the pimp or the prostitute?

It might aswell be legal, you can't get rid of it and it would be better off for the girls for it to be legal. Still can't imagine myself going at it with a prozzie, that's nasty shit.

The only difference between hookers and everyone else is they have sex with anyone for $100 while we would do it for $10,000.

Should be legalised and regulated. Think about all that lost tax revenue and all of those exploited youngsters.

I say it should be legal. The technology exist to properly track everything.

Wow, I am honestly surprised at the percentage of respondants with similar views here. I'm gonna play some sort of devil's advocate say it is a catalyst for crime.

Without the mention of violent patrons, it inevitably leads to practices like those of cutthroat businessmen, thus creating the goal to turn a higher profit or drive the opponent out. The whole pimping aspect is easily a part that causes competition and crime, when it is illegal towards those who cannot pay for "services". When the hooker supply is low and demand is up, it brings along the issue of human trafficking. One Chicago newspaper had a story last week that detailed one former slaves journey by underground human traders for sex slavery. These people will lure in those wishing to get into the country (illegal immigrants!!!!, not all of them though) with promises of citizenship or work or a better life but then sell them into houses of ill-repute where they are put to work for cash they never see a cent of. Ghastly business, that.
Without all that jazz of the actual straight-up prostitution, it is connected to all sorts of less-than-honorable things.

Well, as long as its handled cleanly then Who am I to complain, I might not like prostitutes but if it makes them happy and as long as its safe sex,a nd government or state regulated like nevada, then let it be.
