But imagine if you were in his position right now.

You are appointed the position of President of the United States of America.
September 11th rolls around, and you must do something to save your country.
You declare war on Iraq and begin dumping the troops in there.

Then we have all these people that hate Bush because of the way he is running our country.
Wouldn't you be the same if you ran it? Maybe he doesn't have a choice (ironic). Maybe the best thing he can think of is to use instinct and fight back.

So the next time you want to say "I hate Bush", just think about what you would be like if you were the president.

Sure, you may say "I would run the country much better than he does, and I would be extracting the troops as we speak." But actions speak louder than words.

The only reason I really dislike Bush is his immigration policy. I don't exactly dislike him just because he has handeled the war in Iraq poorly.

and i understand the war in afghanistan...we found a link to september 11th there.
iraq? i didnt believe the evidence then and i dont now...it seems we went there on a mission of revenge. i mean, america did sell him chemical weapons in the 70's-80's.

and i also wouldnt do the wire tapping of the american people.

but i know he's doing a thankless job as best he can...although most of us dont agree with it. he's trying

All I'm saying is that people hate him for who he is, because to them, he makes alot of bad choices (which I agree that he does)

He is a puppet, and I do think he makes decisions to benefit himself, not the country.

You're not that far off actually. The only real difference between that situation and reality is that Rumsfield and Chenney were pushing for the war in Iraq. If tou want to get a decent look at how the decisions were made in the White House after 9/11, watch the documentary "The Darkside". (I know the name suggests party propaganda, but it was probably the most objective film I've ever seen on the subject.
