Cool thing: it's only 150€ for 12 months ^^ so yeah... Uni offer here. Just need some calculations and then it's doable. Next year it will be different probably.
download limit what is that!!!??? 8/1mb here and 38,89 euro one month
Ah I see I wonder if Ghent has something similar. Maybe in four months I'll be playing BF2 on their ISP? :pDe_Jappe wrote:

I can suck the internet dry if I want
I don't think there are any DL/UL limits in the scandinavian countries or atleast in Finland. I didn't know there were any in other parts of europe either.

What are the bill names and numbers? I'll start writing letters and get some of the activist on campus to protest against it (funny what people do when you nudge them just a little in the right direction)mtb0minime wrote:
That sucks having a download limit. Any country that has a download limit is ... COMMUNIST!! We must crush them and their red army! Time to destroy the Communist Intarwebs!
Too bad the US gov't is being pressured to communize the internet here, too. Stupid CEOs and their bribing. I don't want the internet to become communist like the radio and tv
I'm not sure, just Google "Net Neutrality Act" or something like that. They want to keep the internet neutral ground, whereas there are people trying to push for different speeds of internet for different sites. It happened to TV and it happened to radio (you have to pay extra if you want cable or satellite channels). So what would happen basically is that if I wanted to visit one site I could get as much bandwidth as I'm normally allowed, but if I wanted to visit another, it'd be either completely blocked, slower than normal, or just the same if I paid the extra money. It's complete bollocks and bullshit. In this day and age, the internet is the future, and now already-rich fuckers are trying to cash in and make some money that they already have enough of. Fortunately there are politicians against this kind of capitalism, like for example, that Dr. Paul guy (can't remember his first name) that was in another thread in D&ST (GOP Debate).Ridir wrote:
