I can't. I havn't played BF2 for about six months, I wanted to give it a go again today to celebrate finishing my essay, but after getting into the game:

I went to the suggested site, downloaded some bullshit and attempted to do whatever I could decipher from the instructions.
So any help would be appreciated and I hope to join you on the battlefield.

Just replace the file from your BF2 folder with that file.

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\pb

Right well I had a similar problem, all you have to do is download this, as you may have already, and then follow these steps..

1) Run the pbsetup.exe that you just downloaded.
2) It may have to update, just agree to the license agreements.
3) Click on Add a Game.
4) Scroll down to Battlefield 2.
5) Click on it, and make sure the game path is correct.
6) Click ok.
7) It should appear under the main Punkbuster Setup screen. Click on where it says Battlefield 2, and then click check for updates.
8) It should automatically update.
9) Try the game again.

Yeah, they don't realise that I'm all talk and that I really suck at the game, (true.)

Anyway I figured it out. There was some miniscule file I needed to download and put in a specific file in myBF2/pb folder. It seems to have worked and I even played a round or two. Thanks for your help everyone.
