Are you saying he's wrong? Doesn't sound like a conspiracy to me, sounds like how governments get things done.
Maybe you don't know what a conspiracy is? Perhaps being a congressman he would like to personally offer some evidence instead of scavaging votes from the Rosie O'Donnell/Alex Jones crowd. No matter, he just lost his chance.

Wow. Funny as a "conspiricist" he did so well in the debate. At least according to the American people.

I know perfectly well what a conspiracy is, thanks, but it'd hardly be the first time that something like that had happened would it? Sounds more like a realist than a theorist.

No it wouldn't, but making assumptions (especially on events that haven't happened) without offering proof would make you a theorist. Liberals love him... again, wrong ticket.

Whatever the polls say that you list, alot of people like what they hear from Ron Paul. HE may not fit the conservative standard of "more of the same", but at least he has his own views with less rhetoric. TO imply he panders to the "conspiricists vote" is wrong. Thats a small niche that hardly matters anyway.

If he doesn't get the nomination, he'd make a great independent candidate. And with everyone frustrated witht the "two party system" he may just win.

So dismiss him and his views. He has more balls than Guilliani. (who is apparently winning)

I'm just explaining the reality of it. He does well in polls like the MSNBC poll because it attracts the other side (the left). A poll like that does not require the Dems to sacrifice a vote for their candidate, so they are going to vote for the one the best represented them. But when it comes down to a Presidential election the GOP can not count on those votes. He will not make it.

I firmly believe his campaign will gain steam as time goes on.  I see this as a "grass roots" campaign where word of mouth from person to person will get attention for him making him the popular candidate.   Again, I'm a registered Democrat, but this guy has my full attention at this point.

"Plenty of reasonable people can disagree about foreign policy. What's really strange is when one reasonable position is completely and forcibly excluded from the public debate.

Such was the case after 9-11. Every close observer of the events of those days knows full well that these crimes were acts of revenge for US policy in the Muslim world. The CIA and the 911 Commission said as much, the terrorists themselves proclaimed it, and Osama underscored the point by naming three issues in particular: US troops in Saudi Arabia, US sanctions against Iraq, and US funding of Israeli expansionism.

So far as I know, Ron Paul is the only prominent public figure in the six years since who has given an honest telling of this truth. The explosive exchange occurred during the Republican Presidential debate in South Carolina. "

This is the start of an article entitled "Ron Paul on Blowback". You can find it here: http://www.informationclearinghouse.inf … e17727.htm

I'd vote Republican if he got the nomination, damn skippy.

He's hardcore libertarian, sticks to his principles, no suprises, no pandering.  Honest to a fault.

The Democrats haven't produced a viable candidate and the Republican "front-runners" are more of the same.

He's not advocating isolationism at all, and he's not advocating "not dealing with terrorism".  He's advocating a foreign policy based on free trade and the free market with little or no imperialistic intervention.  He advocating cutting government spending to the bare bones of just Defense, Law Enforcement, Public Safety, and infrastructure...with the tax reductions to match the new spending style.  Its hard to imagine not paying income tax, but less than 100 years ago this was normal.  Less than 50 years ago 2% income tax was normal.  Fair sales tax is a damn good idea if you read about it.  Stabilizing our currency with an actual standard (any and all precious metals, for example) would eliminate the need for most of our wars and foreign policy fuckups, as well as our police state forming back home.

I don't agree with his stance on abortion, but I think it would be moderated to a great degree.

As for the premise that "liberals" would rather vote for Hillary than Ron Paul so the initial results don't count...think again.

I like Dr. Paul's stance on foreign policy a lot. I really hate Team America: World Police (not the movie, the idea). Politicians need to stop worrying about what goes on in other countries and focus on its own people. There are tons of people in poverty in our country and people living on welfare, yet there are all these programs and protests going on about places like Darfur. Is genocide in Darfur affecting my life and the majority of other Americans? Not that I can tell, so why worry about it until our nation is in perfect shape? For example, you don't see someone with two broken legs attempting a mountain rescue and carrying other injured people down.

Here's another great video showing Ron Paul.

Good vid. It's a shame for such a smart guy though that like the large majority of US politicians he fails to realise, or at least point out, that the invasion of Iraq had exactly fuck all to do with terrorism. I'd have thought he'd want to use that more to his advantage.

The guy thinks there is a huge 9/11 conspiracy.  Might as well elect the dudes from loose change.  He thinks we are going to nuke Iran any day now.  Come on man.

He just say that 911 happened mostly because of the american foreign policy. He think that you guys should have chased Ben Laden all the way to pakistan where he is right now instead of focusing in Iraq.

Hes just telling the truth, hes no conspiracist.. please provide the link where he said that he think that you are going to nuke Iran any day now

Amazing.  I thought it happened because they ran out of beer at the local pub.

I watched a few more things this guy says, and while I like some of his ideas, Gulani or w/e his name is better, simply because he's not intimidate by a mob of Arabs; or anyone for that matter.

Of course.. hes not the one who will do the fighting. Its easy to say "we will prevail" when you sit comfortably in the white house

Could someone please give me a link that has evidence showing that he thinks 911 was a conspiracy?

This guy has my vote, hope like hell he gets the nomination.  Be nice to have an old school republican back in office (think Eisenhower).  What republicans are today would make most republicans from 50 years ago cringe in horror, but the same could be said about the democrats.  What the hell happened to this country anyways?

As far as I know, the marines and other servicemen aren't intimidated either, so that one falls through the roof as well.

No, he's a quack. He seeks to appeal to the libertarians within the Republican party, but he's not getting anywhere. For one thing, he blames too much on American Foreign policy, and second, his isolation policy is nice and dandy if we hadn't been attacked by Arabs.

It seems liberals and dumbasses alike cite Bush's claims to withdrawing America from world affairs before he was elected as proof he's a hypocrite--only problem is they seem to forgot one problem--we were attacked by Muslim bums.
