Batman.
Spawn. A hero with the powers of hell, or Batman who is just a martial artist that has a fancy car and a gadget belt.

Spawn. Batman is cool and all, and could probably beat most of the heroes out there, but Spawn is from Hell, and with insane powers at that. Plus, Spawn has the super awesome cape.
Obviously batman, he has a utility belt with everything a hero could possibly need.
Spawn may win a fight, but Batman kicks ass.
Spawn. Batman's got the skills, but spawn has the unholy powers of hell on his side, and I'd like to see the batarang that can beat that.
Batman: he does not possess superhuman powers or abilities; he makes use of intellect, detective skills, science and technology, wealth, physical prowess, and intimidation.
I dont think those are going to work on Spawn.
Spawn: Following Issue #161, the Man of Miracles had given him fruit from the Tree of Life and propelled his power to high-omnipotent levels, enabling him to rival God and Satan. Now with the powers equal to both God and Satan, Spawn is the third power in the battle of Armageddon. Spawn has apparent control over the Earth itself, using it to his will when in battle against both armies. Spawn used the Earth to swallow all other Hellspawn and imprison them back in Hell. Most impressively, he used his new powers to wipe out the earth of all the legions of heaven and hell in one blast without showing any obvious wear on his power. In issue 163 he ressurected all humans and had undone all the damage from the four horsemen.
And also, "Despite being armed with heavenly power and weaponry, and even after almost completely bisecting him, Zera was unable to kill Spawn"

Spawn all the way he has bad ass powers I dont think Batman would be able to match him. But its up to Bf2s community to decide who they think would win

Spawn FTW. Anyone who votes Batman isn't basing their vote on logic, they're just voting because they like him better.

My point remains - Batman has no superpowers and he still kicks arse. Spawn is endowed with incredible power, of course people expect him to win. Also Spawn had non-memorable villians, while Batman has some of the best villians in supervillian history.
In a one on one fight of course Spawn would win, but that's because his whole concept is ridiculous. Batman is the thinker, the scientist, the fighter, when the creator of Spawn thought him up he just thought, "uh... just make him do everything. I can't be arsed thinking up a decent superhero concept."

I actually own both copies of the Spawn vs. Batman... The DC and Image version.
batman doesn't have a chance.

I believe that Batman is possibly the best super hero out there. He can take on anyone. He's defeated Superman, Iron Man, Spider Man and a host of other heroes before, not to mention an amazing amount of villains.
The thing about this fight, to me at least, is that his abilities wont help him against the most powerful Hellspawn to ever exist.
