well...
Punkbuster is once again giving me pain for no apparent reason...  Every time I play bf2142 it kicks me after 30secs to 1min of gametime... 
Message is summin bout "PB not responding or something like that... "
I run BF under Vista, I got user account BS off, admin rights, Up-to-date fuckbuster, the whole shabang... and still the damn thing is trying my patience...

It just started today up until now it left me relatively in peace, but now all of a sudden....

Any thoughts?

have you disabled or blocked with your firewall somthing called "PnkBstrA.exe" or "PnkBstrB.exe" if you have TURN THEM BACK ON/LET THEM ON THE NET and all should be good.

okay, did the trick, but now all of a sudden new problem:

Whenever I join a NS server the dialogue sais: "This server only allows unmodified content pease revert to original BF2142 version"....  I go WTF? I have latest patch, NS... Still the same horse sh!t.  I reinstall the entire damn thing...  Same sh!t....

hey mate sorry to hear ya having problems, try using this to get rid of any old registery, go to www.filehippo.com and under the section cleaning and tweaking get CCleaner. it self explaind prog and i use it all the time, it may help, good luck
