E6420? i havnt heard of that.

what brand is the RAM?
dont card that GPU, /Shite. if you dont want to spend alot on a card get a 7600GT.

then you could play high graphics.

CPU is ok but not great. The graphics just plain out suck. Rest is good. You can run bf2 on that system on mostly low.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Dude thats a pretty decent system, but no that video card is pretty crap and wont run BF2 on hi.

The minimum would be dual 7600GT in SLi. What you really need is 7950GT+. If you got the money then
use dual 8800GTS 640MB. The 2 cards will out perform a 8800GTX for about the same price.

i once had a amd 2Ghz with a ati 9600 pro and 2gb of shit ram and i could run it at medium. honestly, you will you be able to run it at medium with full fps or high with good fps. or else, ati 1950xt

why dual?

a 7600 is sufficient enough.

Medium on a lower resolution. /Maybe

The processor itself is pretty good, assuming you got those numbers transposed, but even the best processor with a low end video card won't run todays games very well. A 7600GT on a Athlon64 3200+ would school it. Games are more reliant on the speed of the video card.

A 7600GT will probably get you 1280x1024 with the settings turned medium to high. Definitely all high if it's at 1024x768. If you can afford it, look at the new 8600GT. It'll serve you longer since it's a DirectX 10 capable card.

The Intel E6420 is basically the same as the E6400 (2.13ghz conroe) but with 4mb of level 2 cache.  It's very new. But why are you getting 2 of them??

The Intel 965SSCK motherboard is mATX design, i.e. it's smaller than a standard ATX motherboard.  It has onboard video and audio which goes a little way to mitigate the fact it's only got space for 1 PCI-E 16x slot, 1 PCI-E 1x slot and 2 PCI slots.

Onboard video is a definite no-no if you want to play games and you should avoid it like the plague.  Which leads to the video card.

The Asus 7300GS is absolute shite.  It may have 256mb but that doesn't excuse the GPU, which will struggle to perform for any game you might want to play.

I doubt you'll get an acceptable framerate on medium, on bf2, purely because of the graphics card.

ok goood proc
    goood RAM
SHIT graphics card.... the 7300 isn't really even a gaming card.... a very big bottleneck
As other people said...... if you don't want to spend much... get a 7600GT....
if you  want to spend a decent amount... a X1950 PRO
    wanna spend a lot .. 8800... card...

for your question... about $160 the cheapest 7600GT in AUS
http://www.i-tech.com.au/products/8194_ … 28bit.aspx

expect to run high at a decent res with this.

and if you cant afford that you should consider getting cheaper RAM or A E6300 processor... in a gaming comp.. that graphics card is the most important part

good luck
