I decided i need a new video card because i just got test drive unlimited and well....I did some overclocking on my x700 pro and it didnt help very much. Im running a pci-e system and dont want to spend too much considering the oncoming wake of dx10 cards and im gonna hold off on buying one for a while. can anyone recomend a decent dx9 pcie card that will run TDU but not kill my bank account?

waiting until the ati dx10s are out will drop prices on the higher end dx9c's. And if you want better detail go nvidia, if you want better colors go ati, thats my experience at least.
Just wait honestly, if your going to upgrade now, you need DX10.
what about those new 6800's are those any good? or is it of better value to get a 8800
