Right l've just got this PR game and heard something about ABR. I know what it is but have no idea on how to use it or where to get it from. I did try the battlefieldranking.net but the link does not work and it really did'nt shead any light on how to use the thing.
In fact do l actually need to download anything?
I did try search and did'nt get much, mind you it was late when l looked and l was half pissed!

You don't need to download anything... Just join a PR Server with ABR, and you will earn ABR Points...

There are ranked servers and unranked. Ranked servers run ABR and you can see your stats here:

You don't need to install anything but than every time you join a server you will be a private and you will get promoted to your rank. It can be quite annoying tbh but it lasts only first minute or two. You can also install the ABR client on your computer and run PR once with it and you wont start as private any more, so no more "you have been promoted" spamming.

You need to download ABR if you want it to keep your Rank, Medals, Ribbons etc - but without it records your stats i.e Kills, Deaths; however it deletes your BF2 BFHQ so, if you're going to play PR only - or very little vanilla, i would recommend it.

I stopped playing BF last year some time it does'nt bother me much.
