Bubs, please stop.
Why?  You're going around killing and taking away the rights of others on the basis and that teh terr0rizerz are out to get you, and yet here 32 people are killed by someone not associated with Al Qaeda or Islam.  Glass houses and all that.
Terrorism has nothing to do with what happened at MY SCHOOL.  Stop taking the deaths of people I KNOW and turning them into talking points for your anti-american  platform.  You do it, other people on here do it, the news does it, politicians will soon start doing it... and its wrong!  Look at you.  No, "I'm sorry to the people of Virginia for their loss", no "I feel bad for what happened".  Instead you say "but at least your safe from muslims......".  You really are something.  You know what you should do?  You should not come back to this forum until you have practiced something we here in America call "Compassion."
Oh, please, whenever someone uses a suicide bombing in Iraq to make a point nobody leaps out saying "Hey, don't do that, think of the family!".  Why?  Because if that's all we did we'd never get anything done until after everyone involved was dead.

i am in the process of drawing up plans to make a mace. its for me, and it will add to my already large collection of period weapons that i own. i have all sorts of pieces from american indian tomahawks to feudal japanese swords. my point is that i will make this mace and i will hang it on the mount that i made and it will only be taken off the wall when cleaned or inspected. so this mace isnt being "designed for killing" as you have stated above.

on the other hand, i know plenty of gunsmiths that sell firearms that are not "designed for killing" either. my .22 ranch rifle isnt designed for killing. my 1911 that i carry everyday is a fucking life-taking machine if it needs, which i freely admit. there is a difference, you just need to look closely.
Actually, yes your .22 IS designed for killing. If you stood against a wall, and i hit you with it @ a range of say 100m, im pretty sure i could do a nice job of killing you.

A suggestion from me for gun control:

Just background check on felony records for guns, but stricter checks for ammunition. Now people have the rights to bear arms, just no the rights to bear ammunition. Ammo should be just a Privliage, not a right.

So it's not a suggestion for gun control, but for ammo control?

I bet if I were to rob a person for his gun, I could probably rob him of his legally obtained ammo too, right?

To be honoust..
I don't give a shit anymore to this kind of happenings.
I feel sorry for the families and other people involved, yes, but I hear this kind of messages almost every day. It's almost becoming a 'normal' part of everyday life.

+1 here...

I would add that there are lots of people dying everyday in Darfur, or Iraq (I mean civilians here), but no one cares, myself included, so why should I care about the Virginia thing ? Because it is 6000km closer ? It's sad for the families, and yes it is becoming "normal" in the US now. And there will probably be another shooting within a year anyhow.
