It varies state to state. I personally don't think the British are all snobs, it's just that whole stiff upper lip mentality. A good percentage of Americans are fat & loud but not all.

I was gonna say to watch the CNNN episode of stupid loud Americans. Not all are, but since they payed out the Brits for being snobby, I said yes, because majority are. (At least the rest of the world thinks so).

In Vienna we get a lot of Americans that are backpacking through Europe, and Vienna is always a stop.
So by no means are they all assholes but I always remember those that are. Those that ALWAYS shout when they are talking and say "like" every 5th word. When they sit on a train next to you, you better get really drunk really fast.
Good thing is that I made a lot of money off them by giving them "underground" tours of Vienna, you know like not the ones that like a tourist guide would like give and stuff.
