Lian LI PC-65 Case with modded side window (2x 80mm fans blowing on the vid cards)

ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe

PC Power & Cooling 510 SLI-PFC ATX12V Power Supply (No one makes them better for high end rigs)

Dual XFX PVT70FUNF7 7800GTX in SLI

AMD FX-55 San Diego Core

Cooler Master Hyper 6+ HSF (If I really knew how big this was gonna be I would not of bought it but it does work great)

Corsair XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) TWINX2048-3200C2PRO

Dual WD Raptor WD740GD in Raid 1

Dual Maxtor DiamondMax 10 6L250R0 in Raid 0

(Software raid but it still works great though)

SoundBlaster Audigy2 (The X-Fi just came out and I heard horror stories on these so I held back)

2x NEC Dual Layer DVD Burner ND-3540A

I've had this rig for about a year now and I am still very pleased with it. Does every game in highest settings possible without missing a bit, oh wait patch 1.3 on BF2 causes it to crash, lol, other than that it works great.

I read where someone posted that they had dual 7950 in Quad-SLI but according to nVidia and MaxPC that is not possible due to no drivers being available to support this function unless you bought a pre-built rig from a vendor. So if you put it together technically this is impossible to have since by default windows and nvidia do not support this just yet. There is a huge article on this at http://www.maximumpc.com if you wish to read it.

i believe a review site managed to get 2 7950's running in quad sli, but they had to use some older drivers, the current nvidia drivers do not support it iirc

can't remember off the top of my head, could have been using 70.xx or 80.xx

If your power supply can take it, I would recommend the X800XT All-in-Wonder over the 9600 All-in-Wonder.  The comparison can be found here

Well I am at Fragapalooza a 4 day 1000 man LAN. And I just won teh following:

Intel Core 2 Duo (Conroe) X6800 Extreme
Crucial Ballistix RAM
Western Digital 150 Gig Raptor (10, 000 rpm)
Dual X1900XT's in Crossfire
And $1000 spending money at a local computer store, the catch:

I had to build it in 5 hours competing with another 4 people. We get to keep the computers, but the one that wins the benchmarking, the crowd vote, and the judge vote gets a $5000 contract with MDG to design their new gaming rig. All because I submitted a joke case entry... (Get a barbeque, mount lcd monitor inside lid, gas knobs control fan speeds, spark ignighter turns computer on, side holder is a mouse pad, ect.)

Ended up buying an antec p180, a g7, another g15, some vantec stealth fans, Thermaltake bigwater water cooling kit, cathodes, ect. Might post pictures later if I am bored.
