Hello to everybody. Today I have bought Vista, I already got my first problem. Wtf is going on? I need to install bf2, so I also need EA link. EA link does'nt works yet, what should I do? And if I open the internet explorer, I'm lagging hardcore. Only into the internet explorer. I have already deleted norton anti virus. Please help me, it sucks ;/
What version of vista are you running and also what are you system specs. You do know that unless you a fairly decent pc Vista will eat it alive you need ATLEAST 1 gig of ram just to run premium or ultimate

did you get the 64 bit version? if so, right click on your EA link shortcut and change the compatability mode to XP or whatever. i think. not a vista expert, so yeah.

Ok, vista home premium 32-bit. 256 mb graphiccard, 1024 mb ram and 250 gb to save my things.
Internet works now, but EA link still sux. omg

I know now what the problem was. I used the blocked programme xfire, how can I un-block it?
lol I was supposed to get Vista about 2 weeks ago, never did.

Just run everything in compatibility mode for XP ... processor?
No, xfire is blocking the internet explorer. And the autostart of xfire is blocked. How can I unblock xfire? rofl.
ok to fix the problem for vista on bf2 and bf2142 right click>properties>compatibility>run as admin

try uninstalling bf2 and 2142
and follow this
start>type regedit>KHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE and look for any dice or EA GAMES and delete and then reinstall
